Regular Meeting September 25, 2000 Page 5 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE ABANDONMENT OF THE ALLEYWAY ADJACENT OT LOTS 1 AND 3, BLOCK 7 OF THE CEDAR PLATEAU ADDITION LOCATED BETWEEN BROWN STREET AND AN UNOPENED PORTION OF PROSPECT STREET; APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF THIS ALLEYWAY TO ARTHUR AND GLORIA AMEY, RETAINING A PUBLIC ACCESS EASEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DEED; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Doiron moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Mayhew seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration reconsideration of a Zoning Ordinance. The Council did not wish to reconsider this Ordinance. The caption reads as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING LOT 108 OF THE PARK ADDITION, THIRD DIVISION, LOCATED IN THE 900 BLOCK OF CHESTNUT STREET, FROM "MF-4" (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT [HIGH DENSITY]) TO "MF-2" (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT [MEDIUM DENSITY] ); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held September 11, 2000 and Special Meeting held September 12, 2000, remove from table and approval of Ordinance on second reading, adoption of one Ordinance on third and final reading, adoption of twenty Resolutions and approval of expenses from the Tourist Account in the amount of $3,591.52 for the Texas Municipal League Exhibitor's Booth to promote tourism to San Marcos on consensus. The Council removed Items 10.D.(2), 10.D. (10), 10.D. (11), 10.D.(13), 10.D. (17), 10.D. (18), 10.D. (19) and 10. D. (20), adoption of Resolutions, to be considered separately. Mr. Doiron moved for approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held September 11, 2000 and Special Meeting held September 12, 2000, to remove from table and approve the Ordinance on second reading, for adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading, for adoption of the remaining twelve Resolutions, including approval of 10.D. (14) with the amendments, and approval of the expenses from the Tourist Account in the amount of $3,591.52 for the Texas Municipal League Exhibitor's Booth to promote tourism to San Marcos on consensus and Mr. Mayhew seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Ms. Hughson voting aye on all matters except I terns 10.
