She stated the primary <br /> objectives for advertising center around shopping downtown and historical <br /> sites. She asked the Council for their comments by Friday. She stated <br /> they are working on the holiday "push" highlighting shopping, Sights and <br /> Sounds and the downtown area. (6) Mayor Chiu stated the City has received <br /> a letter from the City of Rollingwood and they are asking for our support <br /> on legislation regarding the Texas Department of Transportation to receive <br /> input from cities in evaluating District Engineers. It was consensus of <br /> Council to place this on an agenda for discussion. <br /> Mayor Chiu introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government <br /> Code, Sections 551.072 and 551.073, to discuss the following if public <br /> discussion would have a detrimental effect on the City's position in <br /> negotiations with a third person (value of real property - San Marcos <br /> River area); and Section 551.086, to discuss commercial or financial <br /> information the City has received from a business prospect with which the <br /> City is conducting economic development negotiations, or to deliberate the <br /> offer of a financial or other incentive to such a business prospect (North <br /> LBJ Drive area).
