She asked the Council for their comments by Friday. She stated they are working on the holiday "push" highlighting shopping, Sights and Sounds and the downtown area. (6) Mayor Chiu stated the City has received a letter from the City of Rollingwood and they are asking for our support on legislation regarding the Texas Department of Transportation to receive input from cities in evaluating District Engineers. It was consensus of Council to place this on an agenda for discussion. Mayor Chiu introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Sections 551.072 and 551.073, to discuss the following if public discussion would have a detrimental effect on the City's position in negotiations with a third person (value of real property - San Marcos River area); and Section 551.086, to discuss commercial or financial information the City has received from a business prospect with which the City is conducting economic development negotiations, or to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to such a business prospect (North LBJ Drive area). Mr. Doiron moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session at 8:35 p.m. and Mr. Moseley seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
