RESOLUTION NO. 2020-58R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE SALE OF A TRACT OF PROPERTY <br />IDENTIFIED AS THE SOUTHWESTERLY 28 FEET OF LOT 5, BLOCK <br />11, C.D. WALLACE SUBDIVISION, (HAYS CAD PARCEL ID NO. R47051), <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, ACQUIRED BY THE <br />SAN MARCOS CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />FOR UNPAID TAXES, TO GANYMEDE ENTERPRISES, LLC FOR <br />$3,200.00; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF ANY DEED OR <br />INSTRUMENTS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE SALE; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District (the "District"), as trustee <br />for all taxing units, acquired the tract of real property identified as the southwesterly 28 feet of Lot <br />5, Block 11, C.D. Wallace Subdivision, (Hays CAD Parcel ID No. R47051), City of San Marcos, <br />Hays County, Texas (the "Property") through a tax foreclosure sale of the Property for unpaid <br />taxes. <br />2. The District received an offer from Ganymede Enterprises, LLC to purchase the <br />Property for $3,200.00, which is above the original minimum stated bid amount of $3,080.00. The <br />estimated value of the Property of $4,620.00. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The sale of the Property by the District to Ganymede Enterprises, LLC for <br />$3,200.00 is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or the Mayor, is authorized to execute a deed and any related <br />instruments, on behalf of the City, necessary to complete such sale. <br />L <br />PART 3.
