RESOLUTION NO. 2020-60R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH FREESE AND <br />NICHOLS, INC. FOR THE PREPARATION OF A RISK AND <br />RESILIENCE ASSESSMENT AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN FOR <br />THE CITY'S WATER INFRASTRUCTURE AS REQUIRED BY THE <br />FEDERAL AMERICA'S WATER INFRASTRUCTURE ACT IN THE <br />ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $124,600; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The Agreement between the City and Freese and Nichols, Inc. for the <br />preparation of a risk and resilience assessment and emergency response plan for the City's water <br />infrastructure as required by the Federal America's Water Infrastructure Act in the estimated <br />amount of $124,600.00 is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the Agreement on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
