RESOLUTION NO. 2020-123R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING CHANGE ORDERS NO. 1 AND NO.3 TO <br />THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT AWARDED TO THE BRANDT <br />COMPANIES, LLC FOR THE REDWOOD, STRAHAN, AND MCCARTY <br />SUBSTATION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (CONTRACT NO. 219-310) <br />IN THE NET INCREASE AMOUNT OF $91,276.77 BRINGING THE <br />TOTAL CONTRACT PRICE TO $1,986,449.30; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE <br />APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS TO IMPLEMENT THE CHANGE <br />ORDERS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. Change Orders No. 1 and No. 3 to the construction contract awarded to The <br />Brandt Companies, LLC for the Redwood, Strahan, and McCarty Substation Improvements <br />Project (Contract No. 219-310) in the net increase amount of $91,276.77 bringing the total contract <br />price to $1,986,449.30 are approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />documents to implement the change order. <br />PART 3.
