70. Regular Meeting June 24, 2002 Page 2 Advisory Board stated he wished to speak regarding Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. He stated he would like Council to expedite the adoption of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. He stated in order to receive grants from Parks and wildlife, the City must have a Parks Master Plan in effect. Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Main Street Advisory Board. Paul Mayhew moved to appoint Susan Narvaiz. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Mihalkanin, Montoya, Habingreither, Taylor, Mayhew, Tatum. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Narvaiz. The remaining appointment will be rescheduled. Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Human Development Commission. Mr. Taylor moved to appoint Rhonda Galloway, which passed unanimously. The remaining appointment will be rescheduled. Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Mihalkanin moved to appoint Mr. Taylor. On roll call, the following was recorded: Mr. vote AYE: Mihalkanin, NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Taylor. Montoya, Narvaiz, Habingreither, Mayhew, Tatum. Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration approval of one appointment of a Council Member to the Economic Development Council. Montoya moved to appoint Mr. Mihalkanin. On roll call, the following was recorded: Mr. vote AYE: Montoya, Narvaiz, Habingreither, Taylor, Mayhew, Tatum. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Mihalkanin. Ms. Narvaiz has served on the Economic Development Council in an at large position. Since she is now serving on the City Council, she moved to appoint Linda Porterfield to serve in the at large position, which passed unanimously.
