He stated he would like Council to expedite the <br />adoption of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. He stated <br />in order to receive grants from Parks and wildlife, the City must have a <br />Parks Master Plan in effect. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration approval of two <br />appointments to the Main Street Advisory Board. Paul Mayhew moved to <br />appoint Susan Narvaiz. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Mihalkanin, Montoya, Habingreither, Taylor, Mayhew, Tatum. <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Narvaiz. <br /> <br />The remaining appointment will be rescheduled. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration approval of two <br />appointments to the Human Development Commission. Mr. Taylor moved to <br />appoint Rhonda Galloway, which passed unanimously. The remaining <br />appointment will be rescheduled. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration approval of one <br />appointment to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. <br />Mihalkanin moved to appoint Mr. Taylor. On roll call, the following <br />was recorded: <br /> <br />Mr. <br />vote <br /> <br />AYE: Mihalkanin, <br />NAY: None. <br />ABSTAIN: Taylor. <br /> <br />Montoya, Narvaiz, Habingreither, Mayhew, Tatum. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration approval of one <br />appointment of a Council Member to the Economic Development Council. <br />Montoya moved to appoint Mr. Mihalkanin. On roll call, the following <br />was recorded: <br /> <br />Mr. <br />vote <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Montoya, Narvaiz, Habingreither, Taylor, Mayhew, Tatum. <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Mihalkanin. <br /> <br />Ms. Narvaiz has served on the Economic Development Council in an at large <br />position. Since she is now serving on the City Council, she moved to <br />appoint Linda Porterfield to serve in the at large position, which passed <br />unanimously. <br />
