RESOLUTION NO. 2020-163R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) ACTION PLAN FOR PROGRAM YEAR 2019- <br />2020 ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 2019-121R TO AWARD $105,530 <br />TO HAYS COUNTY TO INCREASE OR IMPROVE COVID-19 TESTING <br />IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL <br />REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY IN MATTERS RELATED TO THE <br />CDBG PROGRAM AND ACTION PLAN; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan for <br />Program Year 2019-2020 approved by Resolution No. 2019-121R is amended to award $105,530 <br />to Hays County to increase or improve COVID-19 testing in the City of San Marcos. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to act as the official <br />representative of the City in matters related to the CDBG Program and Action Plan. <br />PART 3.
