RESOLUTION NO. 2020-170R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING CHANGE IN SERVICE NO. 3 TO THE <br />CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH CASH CONSTRUCTION <br />COMPANY, INC. FOR THE MAIN LIFT STATION FORCE MAIN <br />REPLACEMENT PROJECT TO INCREASE THE CONTRACT PRICE BY <br />$824,481.25 TO ADD THE REPLACEMENT OF A WASTEWATER MAIN <br />ON UNIVERSITY DRIVE FROM MOON STREET TO NORTH LBJ <br />DRIVE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO <br />EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS TO IMPLEMENT THE <br />CHANGE IN SERVICE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The Change in Service to the construction contract with Cash Construction <br />Company, Inc., in the amount of $824,481.25 to add the replacement of a wastewater main on <br />University Drive from Moon Street to North LBJ Drive is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute appropriate <br />documents related to the change in service on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
