There will potentially be collaboration between the Main Street <br />and Parking Advisory Board. <br />Council Member Derrick stated that due to the general lack of parking <br />downtown and Covid, the need for businesses to have services like this is <br />important. <br />Mayor Hughson asked if council approval would be needed if this went beyond <br />90 days. Ms. Falletta stated the Traffic engineer can set loading zone signs <br />administratively and would not need to come back before Council. <br />34. Hold discussion on Ethics Commission Recommendation 2019-02 regarding a code <br />amendment to require yearly ethics training for appointed and elected city officials and <br />city board and commission members, and provide direction to Staff. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Gonzales, seconded by Mayor Pro <br />Tem Mihalkanin, to postpone discussion to a meeting prior to the end of <br />October. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 6 - Council Member Derrick, Mayor Hughson, Mayor Pro Tem Mihalkanin, Council <br />Member Marquez, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Rockeymoore and Council Member <br />Gonzales <br />Against: 1 - Council Member Baker <br />35. Hold discussion on Ethics Commission Recommendation 2020-01 regarding a code <br />amendment to require disclosure of an interest in real property occupied by a city official <br />or a family member as a residence, and provide direction to Staff. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Gonzales, seconded by Mayor Pro <br />Tem Mihalkanin, to postpone discussion to a meeting prior to the end of <br />October.
