SAN MARCOS TRANSIT PLAN I FINALREPORT <br />City of San Marcos <br />The expansion of fixed -route and paratransitbus service in San Marcos will require additional <br />vehicles. Thissection forecasts San Marcos' fleet needsin the next fiveyears. <br />Vehicle Types <br />The San Marcos Transit and Paratransit fleets are comprisedof 30' small -size, heavy-duty Texas <br />Low -Emission Diesel (TxLED)fuelbuses and 25'light-duty gasoline fuel cutaways. The heavy- <br />duty buses have approximately 32 seats and accommodate two wheelchairs. The light-duty <br />cutaways used in transit service have approximately 18 seats and also accommodate two <br />wheelchairs.
