SAN MARCOS TRANSIT PLAN I FINALREPORT <br />City of San Marcos <br />1 Hopkins / Wonder World <br />Route 1 is a crosstown route that mostly operates along Wonder World Drive and Hopkins Street. <br />Destinations along the route include Walmart, San Marcos Activity Center, San Marcos Library, <br />downtown, H -E -B, San Marcos Post Office, Hays County Government Center, and Central Texas <br />Medical Center. Route 1 runs every 30 minutes usingtwobuses and does not serve San Marcos <br />Station. <br />2 Post and 3 Uhland <br />Route 2 and 3 share the same alignment along East Hopkins Street, and Thorpe Lane between <br />San Marcos Station andAquarena Springs Drive. Route 2 continues northeast along Eastwood <br />Street, Mill Street, Uhland Road, and Post Roadto serve several apartment communities. Route 3 <br />continues east of I-35 alongAquarena Springs Drive and Uhland Roadto also serve several <br />apartment communities. <br />Both routes serve H -E -B, Springtown Center, San Marcos Activity Center, San Marcos Library, <br />downtown, and San Marcos Station, providing 30 -minute service alongthe shared segment and <br />6o -minute service along eachbranch. One bus is usedto operatebothrouteswhich alternate <br />every 30 minutes from San Marcos Station. <br />4 Conway/Linda <br />Route 4 operates between San Marcos Station and Walmart on SH 8o, servingthe East <br />Guadalupe, Victory Gardens, Wallace Addition, and Blanco Gardens neighborhoods. Route 4 runs <br />every 30 minutes and does not serve downtown. <br />5 Outlets/University <br />Route 5 operates between CraddockAvenue and Centerpoint Road, serving the Hughson Heights <br />neighborhood, Texas State University, downtown, San Marcos Station, Stonecreek Crossing, San <br />Marcos Premium Outlets, and Tanger Outlets San Marcos. Route 5 runs every 6o minutes. <br />6 Guadalupe/Redwood <br />Route 6 connects the Redwood community and Sunset Acres neighborhood with San Marcos <br />Station. The route consists of two morninground-trips, one midday round-trip, andtwo <br />afternoon round-trip s. Route 6 does not serve downtown. <br />7 Bishop <br />Route 7 connects the Victory Gardens, Westover, and Southwest Hills neighborhoods with San <br />Marcos Station. The route consists of two morning round -trips, one midday round-trip, and two <br />afternoon round-trip s. Route'7 does not serve downtown. <br />Senior Shopper <br />The Senior Shopper shuttle operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays connecting four senior living <br />communities (Mariposa, Stonebrook, LaVista, and SpringtownVilla)with Walmart on Tuesdays <br />and H -E -B on Thursdays.
