SAN MARCOS TRANSIT PLAN I FINALREPORT <br />City of San Marcos <br />Bobcat Shuttle is managed byTexas State University Transportation Services. Bobcat Shuttle <br />operates 237 days out of the year, when classes or finals are in session, and is free to Texas State <br />University students, faculty, staff, as well as the general public. Bobcat Shuttle is fundedby <br />student fees and a portion of faculty/staff parking permit fees. Bobcat Shuttle operates at five <br />primary servicelevels: <br />■ Fall/ Spring Monday -Thursday <br />■ Fall/Spring Friday <br />■ Fall/Spring Saturday <br />■ Summer <br />■ Finals <br />Fall/Spring Monday -Thursday Service <br />During thefall and spring semesters, Bobcat Shuttle operates Monday-Thursdayfrom 7:ooa.m. <br />to approximately 11:0o p.m. From 7:0o a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the system consists of: <br />■ Two bi-directional routes that connect studenthousing and parking with campus <br />■ One counter- clockwisecampusloop route that provides cross -campus travel <br />■ Eight bi-directional routes that connect off -campus apartments with campus <br />Monday -Thursday service is reducedto seven routes between 6:30 p. m. and 9:0o p.m. and to four <br />routes after 9:0o p.m. <br />Fall/Spring Friday Service <br />During thefall and springsemesters on Friday, Bobcat Shuttle operates the sameroutes as <br />Monday -Thursday between7:oo a.m. to 6:30 p.m. No evening serviceis operated on Friday. <br />Fall/Spring Saturday Service <br />Bobcat Shuttle operatesfive routes from 11:0o a.m.to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bobcat Shuttle does <br />not operate Sundayservice. <br />Summer Service <br />During summer semester andthe week priorto fall semester, Bobcat Shuttle operates ten routes <br />from 7:0o a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays. Bobcat Shuttle does not operate on summerweekends. <br />Finals Service <br />Bobcat Shuttle operates a lower fre quencywith extended hours of operation during finals. <br />Pahtways Shuttle <br />Bobcat Shuttle operates a route that connects Texas State Universitywith the Austin Community <br />College Hays Countycampus at part of the Pathways Program, in which students are co -enrolled <br />at both institutions and working towards full admissionto Texas State University. <br />Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates, Inc.
