PART 2. On behalf of the interests of its citizens, the City Council of the City of San <br />Marcos opposes the relocation of retail services from the San Marcos Main Post Office to 900 <br />Bugg Lane for the reasons stated in the recitals set forth in this resolution. <br />PART 3. The City of San Marcos requests immediate action by the United States <br />Postal Service, the Postmaster General, and both houses of the United States Congress to relocate <br />or facilitate the relocation of United States Postal Service retail services in San Marcos to a <br />location other than 900 Bugg Lane that is safer and more convenient for the citizens of the City of <br />San Marcos to access. <br />PART 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after <br />its passage. <br />ADOPTED on October 7, 2020. <br />ane Hughson <br />Mayor <br />
