Consider approval of Ordinance 2021-10, on the first of two readings, amending the <br />City's 2019-2020 Fiscal Year budget to allocate an additional $8,423,553 from the <br />General Fund for Economic Development Incentive payments; and providing an effective <br />date. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Gleason, seconded by Mayor Pro <br />Tem Derrick, to approve Ordinance 2021-10, on the first of two readings. <br />Ms. Kalka stated this item went before the Finance and Audit Committee on <br />February 12th. There was an Economic Development Incentive provider that <br />the City offset with a sales tax increase and due to the increase in income an <br />incentive payment was also needed to be paid to them.
