21. Public Hearing to receive comment for and against an amendment to the future land <br />• use map from Low Density Residential (LDR) to Medium Density Residential (MDR) for a <br />10,709 square foot, more or less, tract of land located at 905 and 907 Allen Street; <br />amending the official zoning map of the City by rezoning this tract from Duplex (D) to <br />Townhouse (T); and including procedural provisions; and consider adoption of Zoning <br />Ordinance 2009-58. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:04 p.m. There being no Public Comments, the <br />Public Hearing was closed at 8:04 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember <br />Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt Ordinance 2009-58, <br />as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. <br />NON-CONSENT AGENDA <br />22. Consider adoption of Resolution 2009-132R, approving an amended Federal <br />Governmental Relations Services Agreement between the City of San Marcos, Texas and <br />the Normandy Group, L.L.C.; authorizing the City Manager to execute said agreement; <br />and declaring an effective date. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Terry and a second by Councilmember <br />Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt Resolution 2009- <br />132R, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. <br />23. Consider adoption of Resolution 2009-133R, providing nominations to the Hays Central <br />Appraisal District Board of Directors to serve a two year term commencing on January 1, <br />2010; and declaring an effective date. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Porterfield and a second by <br />Councilmember Couch the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt <br />Resolution 2009-133R, as previously captioned, and nominating Chris Jones. The motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />24. Consider adoption of Resolution 2009-134R, providing nominations to the Caldwell <br />County Appraisal District Board of Directors to serve a two year term commencing on <br />January 1, 2010; and declaring an effective date. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Thomaides and a second by <br />Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to table this <br />item indefinitely. The motion carried unanimously. <br />25.
