• Robert McClain presented the 2009 Water and Wastewater Rate Study to the City Council. Update and discussion on the Police and Fire Meet and Confer, and provide direction to <br />staff. <br />Collette Jamison, Assistant City Manager, provided an update on the status of the Police and Fire <br />Meet and Confer. There are two outstanding issues for Police: 1) longevity; and 2) on call. Fire <br />negotiations include an increased career ladder with two components: 1) longevity; and 2) a step <br />pay plan. <br />30. Question and answer session with press and public. <br />There were no questions. <br />31. Adjournment. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Terry and a second by Councilmember <br />Porterfield, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the regular <br />session of the San Marcos City Council at 10:41 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2009.
