a) Logo usage guidelines including configurations, clear space, size and limitations, <br />incorrect applications, typography, logo and tagline lockup, brand colors, display <br />options including one-color and reversed logo options and guidelines for specific <br />applications and media (media usage matrix). <br />b) Templates for corporate materials including business cards for City staff, letterhead, <br />envelopes and a new decaling standard for all City vehicles and equipment. <br />c) Examples of brand applications for print, online and outdoor advertising. <br />d) The brand messaging platform and tagline for use by the City. <br />e) All necessary files, fonts and graphics for use in both print and online mediums. <br />1.7 ADDITIONAL SERVICES/CHANGE IN SERVICES <br />1.7.1 The City may direct the Consultant to perform services outside of the scope of the Basic <br />Services described in Sections 1.1 through 1.6 above. The Consultant will submit a written <br />estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional <br />services. The City will consider the Consultant's production of a web portal for information on <br />the progress and status of the branding project an additional service. <br />1.7.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by the <br />Consultant must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form <br />attached to this Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in <br />addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with Article 13 of this Agreement. <br />The approval of the City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the <br />compensation for which exceeds $50,000.00. <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The City will: <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Consultant regarding the City's requirements for the <br />Consultant's' services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Consultant with copies of <br />data and information in the City's possession needed by the Consultant at the Consultant's <br />request. <br />2.2 Designate Melissa Millecam, Director of Communications and Intergovernmental <br />Relations as the City's Project Manager and authorized representative to act on the City's behalf <br />with respect to this Agreement. The City will examine the documents and information submitted <br />by the Consultant and promptly render responses to the Consultant on issues requiring a decision <br />by the City. <br />2.3 Be responsible for all necessary tasks associated with the trademark registration of the <br />brand, slogan, and taglines developed by Consultant. <br />2.4 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Consultant to enter public <br />Branding Project Agreement - Final <br />5
