RESOLUTION NO. 2021-74R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER TO THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT ADDITIONS AND RENOVATIONS CONTRACT WITH <br />TRIMBILT CONSTRUCTION INC. (PROJECT 220-149) INCREASING <br />OWNER'S CONTINGENCY FROM $350,000 TO $529,975.95 AND <br />THEREBY INCREASING THE TOTAL AMONT OF THE CONTRACT BY <br />$179,975.95 FROM $9,141,358 TO $9,321,333.95; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE <br />APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS RELATING TO THE CHANGE ORDER <br />ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. A Change Order to the Police Department Additions and Renovations <br />Contract with Trimbilt Construction (Project No. 220-149) is hereby approved to increase Owners' <br />Contingency from $350,000 to $529,975,95 and thereby increase the total amount of the contract <br />by $179,975.95 from $9,141,358 to $9,321,333.95. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute appropriate <br />documents related to the change order on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
