This growth is expected to be a positive influence on aeronautical activity at the San Marcos Regional Airport in the future. It must be noted that the historic and projected household income information comes from two different sources. As such, there is a drop in percentages between the 2017 historic numbers (Table 3-6) and the 2018 projected numbers (Table 3-7). This difference is due to the different forecasting models used by each data source and because the data source used in Table 3-8 uses 2009 monetary values. S OCIOECONOMIC S UMMARY In general, the analysis of the socioeconomic factors for the region the San Marcos Regional Airport serves show that the regional economy is growing and is expected to continue to grow at a fast pace during the forecast period.
