RESOLUTION 2021-61R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF ELEVEN SURPLUS <br /> POLICE VEHICLES TO THE CITY OF OAK RIDGE AND BRAZORIA <br /> COUNTY IN THE AMOUNT OF $76,500.00 AND THE DONATION OF <br /> THREE SURPLUS POLICE VEHICLES TO THE TOWN OF STAPLES <br /> AND BRAZOS PORT COLLEGE; FINDING THAT SUCH <br /> CONVEYANCES SERVE THE PUBLIC PURPOSE OF FISCAL <br /> RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL ENTITIES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO <br /> TRANSFER TITLE AND CONVEY THE POLICE VEHICLES; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The City Council finds that the sale and conveyance of eleven surplus <br /> police vehicles to the City of Oak Ridge and Brazoria County in the amount of$76,500.00 and <br /> the donation of three surplus police vehicles to the Town of Staples and Brazos Port College <br /> serves the public purpose of fiscal responsibility for all entities. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute all appropriate <br /> documents on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
