City Council Meeting Minutes April 20, 2021 <br />Wilmoth, managing principle of generation development group, stated they do <br />have an agreement in writing and it will be sent to Council. <br />The motion to approve carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Pro Tem Derrick, Mayor Hughson, Council Member Baker, Council Member <br />Gonzales, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, Council Member Garza and Council <br />Member Gleason <br />Against: 0 <br />24. Consider approval of Resolution 2021-77R, approving an agreement for the provision of <br />services in connection with the proposed owner requested annexation in Case Number <br />AN -20-10 (Legacy Square) of approximately 23.2 acres of land, generally located in the <br />Northeast corner of Redwood Road and Old Bastrop Highway; authorizing the City <br />Manager, or his designee, to execute said agreement on behalf of the City; setting a date <br />for a Public Hearing concerning the proposed annexation of said tract of land; and <br />declaring an effective date. <br />A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, seconded by Council <br />Member Gleason, to approve Resolution 2021-77R. <br />Shannon Mattingly, Director of Planning and Development Services, provided <br />the presentation regarding Legacy Square Annexation of the 23.2 acres located <br />at the Northeast corner of Redwood Road and Old Bastrop Hwy. Ms. <br />Mattingly stated the applicant is proposing to develop property as an <br />Affordable Senior Housing project with potential commercial uses at the <br />corner. This item is to set the Public Hearing dates. <br />Mayor Hughson stated this project is on Redwood Road, but not in the <br />Redwood community. <br />The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Pro Tem Derrick, Mayor Hughson, Council Member Baker, Council Member <br />Gonzales, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, Council Member Garza and Council <br />Member Gleason <br />Against: 0 <br />25. Consider approval of Resolution 2021-78R, filling a vacancy on the Board of Directors of <br />the Alliance Regional Water Authority (ARWA), and declaring an effective date. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Hughson, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Derrick, <br />to approve Resolution 2021-78R, that appoints Paul Kite to the Alliance <br />Regional Water Authority.
