This helps <br />get people toward home ownership. <br />MAIN MOTION: to approve Ordinance 2021-02, on the first of two readings, <br />as amended. <br />The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 6 - Mayor Pro Tem Derrick, Mayor Hughson, Council Member Baker, Deputy Mayor <br />Pro Tem Scott, Council Member Garza and Council Member Gleason <br />Against: 1 - Council Member Gonzales <br />15. Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or <br />against Ordinance 2021-30, annexing into the City approximately 23.2 acres of land <br />generally located at the Northeast corner of Redwood Road and South Old Bastrop Hwy <br />(Case No. AN -20-10), including procedural provisions; and providing an effective date; <br />and consider approval of Ordinance 2021-30, on the first of two readings. <br />Shannon Mattingly, Director of Planning and Development Services, provided <br />the presentation regarding annexation of approximately 23.2 acres of land <br />generally located at the Northeast corner of Redwood Road and South Old <br />Bastrop Hwy. <br />Mayor Hughson opened the Public Hearing at 7:10 p.m. <br />Those who spoke: <br />Jessica Mullins, spoke in favor of the project and thanked staff for their work. <br />Brad Williams, spoke in favor and would like for Council to approve the <br />project.
