SECTION 3. The official canvass of the returns of the election reflects the following: <br />A. For Mayor: <br />Jane Garnette Hughson 2,439 — 66.06% <br />Juan Miguel Arredondo 1,253 — 33.94% <br />B. For City Council Member, Place Five, Unexpired Term: <br />Omar Baca <br />Mark Gleason <br />1,606 — 43.90% <br />2,052 — 56.10% <br />SECTION 4. That Jane Hughson received a majority of the votes and is elected to serve <br />as Mayor. <br />SECTION 5. That Mark Gleason received a majority of the votes and is elected to serve <br />as City Council Member, Place Five. <br />SECTION 6. If any portion of this Ordinance is held invalid by a court of competent <br />jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of this Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. <br />SECTION 7.
