RESOLUTION NO. 2021-67R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS DESIGNATING CATEGORIES AND CRITERIA FOR <br />THE USE OF GENERAL FUND DOLLARS MADE AVAILABLE DUE TO <br />THE AWARD TO THE CITY OF CARES ACT CORONAVIRUS RELIEF <br />FUNDS; PARTIALLY ALLOCATING SUCH FUNDS; AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE <br />OF THE CITY IN MATTERS RELATED TO SAID FUNDS ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The award to the City of CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funds makes available <br />additional General Fund dollars for various uses. <br />2. The City Council wishes to determine how such additional funds may be allocated. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The categories and criteria for the use of General Fund dollars made <br />available due to the award to the City of CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funds and the partial <br />allocation of such funds, all as shown in the attachment hereto, are hereby approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager is authorized to act as the official representative of the <br />City in matters related to said funds. <br />I:1 <br />PART 3.
