<br />S i <br />' t a <br />SIGN MAINTENANCE <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />STATE OF TEX. AS- <br />,ObQ..NTY. OF HAYS <br />The City of San Marcos ("City") and the Capital Area Rural Transportation System <br />enter into this Interlocai .Agreement under the authority of the Interlocal <br />CoppCe`atidh Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, as amended, in connection <br />with the maintenance of transit system signage. <br /> Services; 5ervic s-to be:provide.d under this agreement are as folloius. <br /> <br />(a) The: Csty will 0r60 tle.u4uipme,nt,.iabor and materials necessary for the. <br />installation and maintenance of CARTS' transit system signage. <br />Maintenance will be performed upon the City's receipt of a request <br />from CARTS, The City will not be responsible for providing signs or <br />poles. <br />(b) CARTS will provide the City with -all replacement .signs and poles. <br />2: Compensation. <br />Carts wil!'pay the City fOr the actual cost-of the maintenance work:performed <br />by -th.e.,City plus, an additional ten percent on each invoice as, an administrailve. fee.. <br />Payment uvtf1 °b, made to the City within 15 days of'CARTS' receipt of an invoice from the. <br />City. <br />3._ Miscellaneous. <br />(a): Either party mayterOnate:thisAgreement by.giving 15 clays advance <br />written notice to the other party. <br />(b) Each party to this Agreement wli pay for its performance of functions <br />or services under this Agreement from current revenues available to <br />it. <br />(c) This Agreement will take effect immediately upon execution by both <br />parties.
