Mrs. Norris moved to approve the <br />Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of a Zoning <br />Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />~ffiRCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER <br />29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING 11.22 ACRES OF LAND OUT <br />OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. ONE, LOCATED ON THE <br />NORTH SIDE OF WONDER WORLD DRIVE AT THE INTERSECTION <br />OF HUNTER ROAD AND WONDER WORLD DRIVE, FROM "AO" (AGRI- <br />CULTURAL OPEN-SPACE DISTRICT) TO "c" (COMMERCIAL DIS- <br />TRICT. <br /> <br />Mr. Kreczmer moved to approve the Ordinance on first reading and Mrs. <br />Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Everyone was again reminded that the three Ordinances were open for <br />public hearing if anyone wished to speak in favor or against any of <br />them. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of a Zoning <br />Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER <br />29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING 6.46 ACRES OF LAND OUT <br />OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. ONE, LOCATED ON <br />THE NORTH SIDE OF WONDER WORLD DRIVE AT THE INTERSEC- <br />TION OF HUNTER ROAD AND WONDER WORLD DRIVE, FROM "AO" <br />(Þ.GRICULTURAL OPEN-SPACE DISTRICT) TO "OP" (OFFICE <br />PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT). <br /> <br />Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. <br />Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing to consider approval of the <br />following Zoning Ordinance on Lot 10 of the Whisenant First Addition <br />from "AO" (Agricultural Open-Space District) to "R-2" (Duplex or <br />Two-Family District). No one wished to speak in favor or against <br />the zoning request, so the public hearing was closed. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock then introduced for consideration the Zoning Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER <br />29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING LOT TEN (10) OF THE <br />WHISENANT FIRST ADDITION, A/K/A 413 FARIS, FROM <br />"AO" (AGRICULTURAL OPEN-SPACE DISTRICT) TO "R-2" <br />(DUPLEX OR TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT). <br /> <br />Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. <br />Brown seconded the motion.
