<br />41 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />February 8, 1982 <br /> <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Mr. James then moved for approval for the City to enter into an agree- <br />ment with Chastain and Associates for personnel and management consult- <br />ing, and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion. On roll call the following <br />vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Brown, James, Craddock, Norris. <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Cavazos, Kreczmer, Mendez. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />The motion was approved. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock stated the Council would receive a report from the <br />Executive Master Plan Committee representative and recommendations <br />from the Planning and Zoning Commission approving the preliminary <br />Master Plan draft for presentation to the neighborhood sectors and <br />Master Plan Phase IV process. Mr. Morrissett, Chairman of the Exe- <br />cutive Master Plan Committee, stated the Executive Master Plan Com- <br />mittee, working with the Master Plan Committee and consultants Freese <br />and Nichols had come up with a preliminary Master Plan draft which <br />they felt was workable. It has been submitted to the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission and approved by them, as reflected in the letter <br />from Joel Barnard, Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />dated February 3, 1982, and is now being presented to the City <br />Council for approval. Mr. Craig Farmer stated Freese and Nichols <br />had strived to make the Master Plan understandable. <br /> <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:40 p.m. on motion of Mrs. Norris <br />seconded by Mrs. Mendez. <br /> <br />{~æ~ <br /> <br />¡ Emmie Craddock <br />Mayor <br /> <br />~~~.
