RESOLUTION NO. 2021-152R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE 2021 ANNUAL SERVICE PLAN <br />UPDATE FOR THE TRACE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO <br />EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City Council of the City of San Marcos ("City Council") adopted Resolution <br />No. 2015-145 creating the Trace Public Improvement District on October 20, 2015; <br />2. The City Council adopted Resolution No. 2015-146 approving a Financing <br />Agreement, Service and Assessment Plan and Reimbursement Agreement relating to the Trace <br />Public Information District on October 20, 2015. <br />3. The City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2016-42 approving the first Special <br />Assessment on October 18, 2016. <br />4. The City Council's last update for the Service and Assessment Plan was approved <br />on August 18, 2020. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached 2021 Annual Service Plan Update for the Trace Public <br />Improvement District (the "Service Plan Update") is hereby approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute the Service Plan <br />Update on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
