City Council Meeting Minutes September 21, 2021 <br />Juan Rodriguez, spoke in favor of the project and is available to questions. <br />Lisa Marie Coppoletta, expressed concern with traffic and potential flooding. <br />She would like for staff to be on camera while presenting. She stated citizens <br />are concerned with transparency and the bridge needs to be widened. <br />There being no further comments, Mayor Hughson closed the Public Hearing <br />at 8:59 p.m. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Gleason, seconded by Deputy Mayor <br />Pro Tem Scott, to approve Ordinance 2021-79, on the first of two readings. <br />The motion to approve carried by the following vote: <br />For: 6 - Mayor Pro Tem Derrick, Mayor Hughson, Council Member Gonzales, Deputy Mayor <br />Pro Tem Scott, Council Member Garza and Council Member Gleason <br />Against: 1 - Council Member Baker <br />35. Receive a Staff Presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or <br />against Ordinance 2021-80, amending the Official Zoning Map of the City in Case No. <br />ZC-21-13 by rezoning approximately 34.13 acres of land, generally located on the <br />western side of Harris Hill Road approximately 1,400 feet south of the intersection of <br />Harris Hill Road and Southpoint Drive, from "FD" Future Development District to "CD -4" <br />Character District -4, or subject to consent of the owner, another less intense zoning <br />district classification; including procedural provisions; and providing an effective date; <br />and consider approval of Ordinance 2021-80, on the first of two readings. <br />Shannon Mattingly, Director of Planning and Development Services, provided <br />a presentation regarding the rezoning of approximately 34.13 acres of land, <br />located on the western side of Harris Hill Road approximately 1,400 feet south <br />of the intersection of Harris Hill Road and Southpoint Drive, from "FD" <br />Future Development District to "CD -4" Character District -4. <br />Mayor Hughson opened the Public Hearing at 9:04 p.m. <br />Those who spoke: <br />Lisa Marie Coppoletta, expressed concern with neighbors surrounding <br />property.
