Mrs. Norris moved for the approval of this Ordinance on second read- ing to get it on the table for discussion and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion. Mrs. Norris stated she thought R-l zoning should be in- cluded in this Ordinance. Mr. John Stokes stated he thought the word- ing was confusing - plot plans, specified cases, exempting single- family. City Manager stated this Ordinance does not deal with ero- sion control. He felt R-l zoning generally had 20% landscaping any- way and was trying to avoid the added workload if R-l was included. He said it could be added if the Council wanted it to be. Mrs. Norris then moved that the Ordinance be amended to include R-l. There was no second and the motion failed. The Council then unanimously approved the Ordinance on second reading. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of a Resolu- tion, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT OF LEASE WITH GT+3 FLIGHT OPERATIONS, INC., FOR REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SAN ~ffiRCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID LEASE AND DECLARING AN EFFECT- IVE DATE. Mrs. Norris moved to adopt the Resolution and Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion. It was brought to the attention of the Council that GT+3 had not shown evidence of the insurance required, so Mrs. Norris amended her motion to include the proviso that the agreement not be executed until such time as the insurance was shown and approved by the City. The Council voted unanimously in favor of the adoption of the Resolution. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the final plans for the reconstruction of Bishop Street. George Boeker said the bidding would be presented as a package, a base bid to perform certain work, mostly asphalt overlay, and then two alternate bids, one for the removal of the blind hill on Bishop Street and the se- cond to make the street 22' and pave from Hopkins to Ranch Road 12. Jim Byrn stated the base bid would straighten the street somewhat, take care of some jagged areas and base failures and overlay, which would strengthen the roadway. Mr. James moved for the approval of the final plans and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
