103 Regular Meeting March 22, 1982 Page 5 call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, James, Kreczmer, Mendezf Norris. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Cavazos. Mr. James introduced for consideration an agreement with Holland Hills, Inc. Mrs. Norris moved for the adoption of the agreement and Mrs. Mendez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. James introduced for consideration approval for the WIC program to expand into Bastrop C©unty, the program now operating in Hays and Cald- well Counties. Irene Duncan, Director of the WIC program, stated the estimated cost of operation in Bastrop County would be $400.00 monthly and it was projected would generate approximately $7,700.00. Mr. Cavazos moved for the approval for the WIC program to expand into Bastrop County and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. James introduced for consideration approval to bid on 13 trucks and pieces of machinery. It was noted that the 25-ton trailer for Dept. 72 (Streets) that would be used to haul loaders and backhoes was being de- leted from the 13 items at this particular time, in order to make modifi- cations on the specifications. Mr. Brown moved for approval to bid on the remaining 12 items and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. James introduced for consideration approval of the Memorial Day Holiday for city personnel be changed to be the last Monday in May rather than the fourth Mo Nay in May, as some years there are five Mondays in May. Mrs. Norris moved for approval for the Memorial Day Holiday to be the last Monday in May and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
