Carson, Lupe Car- <br />bejahl, Shirley Wickersham, Gerald Farr and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the Regular Meeting held February 22, 1982. Mr. Cavazos moved to ap- <br />prove the minutes and Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed una- <br />nimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown moved the Council adjourn to Executive Session pursuant to <br />Section 2(f) of the Texas Open Meeting Act, Article 6252-17, Texas Re- <br />vised Civil Statutes, to discuss purchase of real property and Mr. <br />James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (7:36 p.m.). <br /> <br />Mr. James moved the Council convene at 8:01 p.m. and Mrs. Mendez se- <br />conded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration authorization to purchase <br />twenty (20) acres of land adjacent to the Contact Stabilization Treat- <br />ment Plant. Mr. James moved negotiations be finalized as set out in <br />a memorandum to A. C. Gonzalez, City Manager, from George W. Boeker, <br />Director of Public Works dated March 5, 1982, a copy of which is at- <br />tached to these minutes, and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing on a zoning change request of <br />0.4145 acres, being a portion of Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 out of the W. o. <br />Meiners First Surburban Addition, located at the intersection of Loop <br />82 and Zunker Street from "R-l" to "M". Dr. Delbert Domstead, owner <br />of the property, spoke in favor of the zoning change and stated at this <br />time his only intention was to build a professional office but wanted <br />the "M" zoning for possible future development of the remainder of the <br />property. No one else wished to speak in favor or against the zoning <br />change request, so Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. Mayor <br />Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the Zoning Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br /> <br />* Tess Norris was not present at this meeting. <br />
