Call To Order <br />With a quorum present, the special meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br />was called to order by Mayor Hughson at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, <br />2021. This meeting was held at the San Marcos Public Library, 625 E. Hopkins <br />in Meeting Room A. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Present: 7 - Mayor Jane Hughson, Council Member Maxfield Baker, Council Member Saul <br />Gonzales, Mayor Pro Tem Shane Scott, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Alyssa Garza, <br />Council Member Mark Gleason and Council Member Jude Prather <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Executive Session in accordance with Sec. §551.074 of the Texas Government Code: <br />Personnel Matters: to discuss the City Manager Search Process. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Scott, seconded by Council Member <br />Baker to enter into Executive Session at 5:07 p.m. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Hughson, Council Member Baker, Council Member Gonzales, Mayor Pro <br />Tem Scott, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Garza, Council Member Gleason and Council <br />Member Prather <br />Against: 0 <br />2. Consider action, by motion, or provide direction to Staff regarding the following Executive <br />Session item held this evening: Sec. §551.074 of the Texas Government Code: Personnel <br />Matters: to discuss the City Manager Search Process. <br />Mayor Hughson stated Executive Session concluded at 6:23 pm. Mayor <br />Hughson stated an action item will be added to the December 7th City Council <br />Meeting that will consider the appointment of Stephanie Reyes, as Interim City <br />Manager, effective February 1, 2022. <br />III.
