City Council Meeting Minutes January 4, 2022 <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Scott, seconded by Council Member <br />Baker, to enter Executive Session at 3:38 p.m. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Hughson, Council Member Baker, Council Member Gonzales, Mayor <br />Pro Tem Scott, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Garza, Council Member Prather and <br />Against: 0 Council Member Gleason <br />IV. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br />Jay Adams, with CBS Austin and Telemundo, asked why was the decision <br />made not to escort the Biden bus when there was complaints? Mayor Hughson <br />stated we can't address due to the active lawsuit. <br />Lisa Marie Coppoletta, inquired about attorney fees that tax payers are paying <br />for the pending lawsuit? Mayor Hughson stated someone will get back to her if <br />tax payers money is paying for the lawsuit. Council Member Baker stated it is <br />covered by Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool. <br />V.
