RESOLUTION NO. 2022-05R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING CHANGE IN SERVICES TO THE <br />AGREEMENTS WITH THE FIVE FIRMS PREVIOUSLY SELECTED TO <br />PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL SURVEYOR SERVICES TO THE CITY ON <br />AN AS -NEEDED BASIS FOR VARIOUS CITY PROJECTS BY <br />INCREASING THE NOT -TO -EXCEED AMOUNT OF EACH CONTRACT <br />FROM $50,000 TO $150,000 FOR A TOTAL EXPENDITURE OF $750,000 <br />FOR A TERM TO BE EXTENDED THROUGH 2025; AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City issued a Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") No. 219-111 for on-call <br />professional surveyor services for various City projects. <br />2. On January 31, 2019, the City received Statements of Qualifications ("SOQ") from <br />twenty-one firms. <br />3. An evaluation committee was formed for the purpose of evaluating the SOQ's and <br />selecting the most qualified firms for placement on an on-call list. <br />4. The committee selected the five most highly qualified firms to be on the on-call list <br />for professional surveyor services for a period of six years under the terms of master agreements <br />with the City in amounts not to exceed $50,000. <br />5. It has been determined that it is in the best interest of the City to increase the funds <br />available to each firm from $50,000 to $150,000.00 through a term extended to 2025. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. A Change in Service to each of the contracts awarded to the firms below <br />increasing the not -to -exceed amount to $150,000.00 per contract for various City projects for a <br />period extended through 2025 is approved: <br />A. Byrn & Associates, Inc. located in San Marcos, Texas; <br />B. Payne Industries, LLC, located in San Marcos, Texas; <br />C. Cobb Fendley & Associates, Inc., located in Austin, Texas; <br />D. Doucet & Associates, Inc., located in Austin, Texas; and <br />
