Recommended Cultural Experiences for Visiting Friends or Family <br />Workshop participants were asked where they would take friends or family visiting San Marcos for a cultural <br />experience. Keen Independent categorized responses by location/type of location that received the highest <br />number of mentions (10 or more). Several participants reported that they found the people and the diverse nature <br />of the community were most memorable. <br /> “The artists themselves, the community or artists and supporters, the architecture, Summer <br />in the Park.” <br /> “The people and their stories.
