RESOLUTION NO. 2021-163R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY RELATING TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EDWARDS AQUIFER HABITAT CONSERVATION PLAN TO, AMONG OTHER THNGS, INCLUDE A DESCRIPTION OF THE DUTIES AND COMPENSATION OF THE HABITAT CONSERVATION PROJECT MANAGER AND EXTEND THE AGREEMENT THROUGH MARCH 31, 2028; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART I. The attached Amendment No.2 to the Interlocal Agreement between the City and Texas State University relating to the implementation of the Edwards Aquifer Habitat Conservation Plan to, among other things, include a description of the duties and compensation of the Habitat Conservation Project Manager and extend the agreement through March 31, 2028 is approved. PART 2. The City Manager,or his designee,is authorized to execute Amendment No.2 to the Interlocal Agreement on behalf of the City. PART 3.
