City Council Meeting Minutes February 1, 2022 The San Marcos Industrial Development Corporation was postponed for consideration this evening, but vacancies will be brought forward at a future meeting. The following applicants were nominated for consideration to serve on the Senior Citizen Advisory Board: Wayne Schurter - nominated by Mayor Hughson Jill Mace - nominated by Mayor Hughson Lezlee Harris Aery - nominated by Mayor Hughson Following a roll call vote all members were unanimously approved for appointment to serve on the Senior Citizen Advisory Board. Council Member Prather recused himself from the nominations and appointments to the Veteran Affairs Advisory Board due to his employment with the Hays County Veterans Office. The following members were nominated for consideration to serve on the Veteran Affairs Advisory Board: Amanda Gomes Torres - nominated by Council Member Baker Cody Stauffer - nominated by Mayor Hughson Nathan Price - nominated by Council Member Gleason Following a roll call vote all members were appointed to serve on the Veteran Affairs Advisory Board. The following applicants were nominated for consideration to serve on the Zoning Board of Adjustments: Michael Nolen - nominated by Council Member Gleason Thomas Sims Jr. - nominated by Council Member Gleason Following a roll call vote both members were unanimously approved for appointment to serve on the Zoning Board of adjustments. Two vacancies remain on this board and consideration for appointment will be brought forward at a future council meeting. EXECUTIVE SESSION 2.
