City Council Meeting Minutes March 1, 2022 <br />For: 6 - Mayor Hughson, Council Member Gonzales, Mayor Pro Tem Scott, Deputy Mayor <br />Pro Tem Garza, Council Member Prather and Council Member Gleason <br />Against: 1 - Council Member Baker <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />31. Executive Session in accordance with the following sections: <br />A. Sec. §551.074 of the Texas Government Code: Personnel Matters: to discuss the <br />duties of the City Manager related to the Meet and Confer Process. <br />B. Sec. §551.074 of the Texas Government Code: Personnel Matters: to discuss goals <br />for the city council appointees: city manager, city attorney, city clerk, and presiding judge <br />of the San Marcos Municipal Court <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Scott, seconded by Mayor Gleason, to <br />enter into Executive Session at 10:58 p.m. The motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Hughson, Council Member Baker, Council Member Gonzales, Mayor Pro <br />Tem Scott, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Garza, Council Member Prather and Council <br />Member Gleason <br />Against: 0 <br />ACTION/DIRECTION FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />32. Consider action, by motion, or provide direction to Staff regarding the following Executive <br />Session items held during the Work Session and/or Regular Meeting: <br />A. Sec. §551.074 of the Texas Government Code: Personnel Matters: to discuss the <br />duties of the City Manager related to the Meet and Confer Process. <br />B. Sec. §551.074 of the Texas Government Code: Personnel Matters: to discuss goals <br />for the city council appointees: city manager, city attorney, city clerk, and presiding judge <br />of the San Marcos Municipal Court <br />Mayor Hughson stated on item A direction was provided to staff and item B <br />will be brought forward at the March 23rd meeting. <br />VI. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br />Lisa Marie Coppoletta stated the Citizens Utility Advisory Board (CUAB) <br />meets 2 to 4 times a year. She inquired how often does the arts commission <br />Master Plan need to be reviewed? Mayor Hughson mentioned a number of <br />recommendations and implementation strategies both provide list of what <br />some tasks are. She stated that her suggestion was to form a list and report to <br />the arts master plan when items get checked off in the plan. Mayor Hughson <br />stated CUAB meets as necessary. <br />VI1.
