City Council Meeting Minutes February 15, 2022 <br />VI. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br />Lisa Marie Coppoletta, she stated she offered the video for the complaint <br />process about 2 years ago to the Ethics Commission. She asked item #2, <br />doesn't see in the agenda packet about people having a problem with this. She <br />would like to know which organizations had complaints? What was the <br />complaint specific scenario on unintended consequences? Mayor Hughson <br />stated she doesn't know what the unintended consequences until it is approved. <br />She would like to know if any members received any complaints. Council <br />Member Baker stated a letter was received from CLEAT in 2021 regarding the <br />lobbying ordinance. Mayor Pro Tem Scott stated realtors and friends shown <br />concerns. Council Member Prather stated organizations that receive economic <br />benefits from the city would need to inform volunteers that they need to <br />register as a lobbyist. He stated the chilling effect that volunteers serve the <br />community and financial arrangement with the city will be considered <br />economic benefit. <br />VII.
