AMENDMENT, RENEWAL AND EXTENSION OF A PROPERTY USE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY I. RECITALS 1.01. Effective March 3, 2003, the City of San Marcos and Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University, entered into a Property Use Agreement (the "Agreement") under which the City authorized Texas State University to use designated parking areas along Charles Austin Drive and Texas State University authorized the City to use designated parking areas behind Fire Station I in downtown San Marcos. 1.02. The Agreement was renewed and extended through August 31, 2015. 1.03. The Agreement was amended and restated on August 2, 2016, and the term was extended through July 31, 2019. 1.04. The Agreement was again renewed and extended on June 27, 2019, and the term was extended through July 31, 2022, 1.05. The parties wish to renew and extend the Agreement for an additional three-year term effective August 1, 2022, AMENDMENT, RENEWAL AND EXTENSION 2.01. The term of the Agreement as set forth in section 2.1 is, hereby, renewed and extended for a term beginning August 1, 2022 and ending July 31, 2025. 2.02. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. AGREED to effective as of August 1, 2022.
