Attachment SC
• Assess firm capacity for future expansion of the contributory portion of the
system. Identify lift stations that may be eliminated either by discrete projects or in
conjunction with other capacity and condition capital projects.
• Evaluate the necessity of Main Lift Station improvements (previous Master Plan projects
#17 and#50)with regard to potential new WWTPs. Establish timelines for necessary Main
Lift Station improvements to aid in new WWTP feasibility assessment, timing, and
opportunity cost.
E3. Progress Meeting#4: Attend and facilitate a meeting with City to review existing and future system
analysis.
Task F: River Rd Lift Station and Davis Ln Relief Lift Station Analysis
F1. Data Collection and Review: Review available flow monitoring data, smart cover data, and work
order history for the collection system assets discharging to the River Rd Lift Station (LS 14).
Interview City staff familiar with the operation and maintenance of the areas served by the River Rd
Lift Station. Review the proposed relief lift station location and contributing collection system
network.
F2. Perform Hydraulic Analysis of Lift Station 14 Contributing Areas: Create the new Davis Ln relief lift
station, as proposed by the City, in the updated hydraulic model developed in Task C. Perform
hydraulic scenarios of average and peak wet weather flow conditions to assess how flows diverted
from the River Rd lift station reduce surcharging. Identify downstream impacts of flows rerouted at
the Davis Ln Lift Station under existing system conditions. Review proposed developments and
projected future flow increases to River Rd Lift Station and provide recommendation for ultimate
replacement of the River Rd Lift Station.
F3. Progress Meeting#5: Attend and facilitate a meeting with City to review the Lift Station 14 analysis.
F4. Relief Lift Station Technical Memorandum: Prepare a Technical Memorandum detailing the
hydraulic modeling results, downstream impacts, and recommendations from the Relief Lift Station
analysis. Scope and timing of recommendations to be included as part of the overall CIP
development detailed in Task H. An electronic PDF file of the Technical Memorandum will be
submitted to the City. Comments or edits to the memorandum will be incorporated into a Final
Technical Memorandum.
Task G: Wastewater Treatment Plant Siting Evaluation
G1. Conceptual WWTP Sizing:Using the buildout sizing methodology developed as part of the Riverbend
Ranch and Rattler Ridge evaluation, desktop evaluation of similar capacity facilities, and feedback
from City Staff on ultimate facility uses, FNI will develop a proposed buildout size(acreage) required
for the South WWTP.
G2. Desktop Siting Study: Using the required buildout acreage for the site and constraining based on
land use, terrain information, and proximity to floodplain, FNI will identify potential land parcels
suitable for further feasibility study.
