RESOLUTION NO. 2022-262R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, ADOPTING CITY OF SAN MARCOS GUIDING <br /> PRINCIPLES FOR THE 88TH TEXAS LEGISLATIVE SESSION (2023); <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City of San Marcos works with state elected officials and state agencies on <br /> issues of importance to San Marcos for the achievement of the City's strategic goals. <br /> 2. The City Council recognizes the need for an active state legislative action program <br /> to ensure that the interests of the City's residents and businesses are protected and enhanced and <br /> wishes to establish guiding principles for this program. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached City of San Marcos Guiding Principles for the 88t" Texas <br /> Legislative Session (2023) are hereby approved and adopted. <br /> PART 2.
