Geotechnical Evaluation <br /> The consultant will provide the City of San Marcos with a geotechnical <br /> soils investigation report for the improvements at the park site. The report <br /> shall include: <br /> • Four(4)boring locations - 6' deep <br /> Design recommendations for foundation,pavement and structural <br /> recommendations will be provided. <br /> C. Schematic Plan Development(30% Construction Document Completion) <br /> The consultant will prepare Schematic Plans (30% completion of <br /> construction document preparation) for the San Marcos Cemetery <br /> Expansion Improvements illustrating general locations, sizes and <br /> relationships of improvements, materials and forms of construction, and <br /> proposed equipment for use in development of the cemetery facilities. The <br /> proposed improvements to be included are shown on the City of San <br /> Marcos Cemetery Expansion Improvements Master Plan dated July 28, <br /> 2021 (Attachment A) and further described in Item "II — Client <br /> Responsibilities and Project Assumptions". These improvements will be <br /> shown within context of the topographic and boundary survey. Material <br /> cut-sheets as necessary to illustrate design characteristics of selected <br /> equipment, finishes and materials will also be included.. <br /> The consultant will prepare an opinion of probable construction costs for <br /> improvements and review schematic plans with City Staff and document <br /> their comments for use during preparation of design development plans. <br /> The consultant will attend meetings with the City of San Marcos Staff for <br /> project review and coordination and to ensure master-planning intent of <br /> the improvements is carried into the early stages of the construction <br /> document preparation. <br /> The consultants will assist in presenting final schematic design to City <br /> Council for approval is required to proceed with Design Development. <br /> The consultant will attend a maximum of two (2)meetings with the City <br /> of San Marcos for project review and coordination. <br />
