RESOLUTION NO.2022-238R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE JOINT <br />FUNDING FOR THE PROVISION OF YOUTH SERVICES WITH TEXAS <br />STATE UNIVERSITY, SAN MARCOS CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT, AND HAYS COUNTY; PROVIDING FOR THE <br />JOINT FUNDING OF A YOUTH SERVICES DIRECTOR TO <br />ADMINISTER YOUTH SERVICES AND PROGRAMS; WITH A <br />PARTICIPATION AMOUNT FOR THE CITY NOT TO EXCEED <br />$50,000.00 ANNUALLY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER <br />DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Agreement to Provide Joint Funding for the Provision of Youth <br />Services with Texas State University, San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, and <br />Hays County, providing for the joint funding of a youth services director, with a participation <br />amount for the City not to exceed $50,000.00 annually is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute such agreement on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
