RESOLUTION 2008-40R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ANNUAL <br />CONTRACT WITH GENE BAGWELL, DBA MAINTENANCE <br />MANAGEMENT FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF THE <br />5AN MARCO5 CEMETERY IN THE ESTIMATED ANNUAL AMOUNT <br />OF $103,760.00; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THIS <br />CONTRACT EXTENSION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On March 12, 2007 the City Council of the City of San Marcos approved an <br />annual contract for the management and operation of the San Marcos Cemetery (the "Contract") <br />with Gene Bagwell, dba Maintenance Management. <br />2. Both parties agree to extend the Contract for an additional year. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The extension of the Contract with Gene Bagwell, dba Maintenance <br />Management for the management and operation of the San Marcos Cemetery in the estimated <br />annual amount of $103,760.00 is approved. <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to execute <br />appropriate documents related to this contract extension on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
