RESOLUTION NO.2023-18R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF <br /> UNDERSTANDING WITH CAPITAL AREA METROPOLITAN <br /> PLANNING ORGANIZATION AND TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF <br /> TRANSPORTATION, PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DIVISION <br /> DETERMINING MUTUAL RESPONSIBILITIES IN CARRYING OUT <br /> THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION PLANNING (MTP) <br /> PROCESS AND MEETING FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION <br /> REQUIREMENTS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HER <br /> DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached Memorandum of Understanding with Capital Area <br /> Metropolitan Planning Organization and Texas Department of Transportation, Public <br /> Transportation Division meeting Federal Transit Administration requirement is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or her designee is authorized to execute the <br /> Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
