RESOLUTION NO. 2022-271R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF THE 2021-2022 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ("CDBG") PROGRAM CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORT ("CAPER") TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. In accordance with applicable federal Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG")regulations,City of San Marcos staff drafted a preliminary 2021-2022 CDBG Program Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report("CAPER")for public comment before final submission to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development("HUD"). 2. Following the requisite public review and comment period, the San Marcos City Council conducted a public hearing to accept citizen comments on said draft of the 2021-2022 CDBG Program CAPER on December 6, 2022. 3. The City of San Marcos is required to submit the final CAPER to HUD after such public hearing. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The City Manager, or her designee, is hereby authorized to finalize and submit the 2021-2022 CDBG Program CAPER to HUD in accordance with applicable regulations. PART 2.
