RESOLUTION N0.2008 - 47R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS REQUESTING THE <br />COMMISSIONERS COURT OF HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS TO <br />INCLUDE FUNDING FOR RIGHT OF WAY ACQUISTION, <br />ENVIRONMENTAL CLEARANCE DESIGN, AND <br />CONSTRUCTION OF LOOP 110 FROM McCARTY LANE TO <br />STATE HIGHWAY 123 IN THE HAYS COUNTY ROAD <br />BOND ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVF 'DER 4, 2008; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS <br />1. Hays County has initiated design of Phase 1 of Loop 1, which e• tends from IH-35, <br />generally along the alignment of the exir' _?L ic(,?. - ?ie, a distance of <br />approximately 6,600 feet. <br />2. The City of San Marcos, Texas p uses to c rrMete the design of Phase 1 of Loop <br />110. <br />3. Approximately 4,400 feet of Phase 1 0? ?p 11 ? ?._. ??ntained within the city limits <br />of San Marcos, Texas. <br />4. This road section will lie outside <br />the city limits of ? ??4y of San Marcos, Texas. <br />7. "Phase II of the 1 ,op 110 Project" will extend from a beginning point located <br />approximately 5,2? 6 feet east of IH-3 5 and end at State Highway 123 . <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That the recitals set forth above in this resolution correctly state the <br />commitments the City of San Marcos, Texas has made for the improvement of McCarty Lane <br />and Loop 110 inside the city limits and within its extraterritorial jurisdiction in Hays County, <br />Texas.
