RESOLUTION NO. 2023-48R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CHANGE IN SERVICE TO THE <br /> HIGHWAY 80 UTILITY PROJECT AGREEMENT WITH FREESE AND <br /> NICHOLS, INC. RELATING TO DESIGN OF 15,700 ADDITIONAL <br /> LINEAR FEET OF RECLAIMED WATER MAIN FROM CITY'S <br /> WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT TO THE HIGHWAY 80 LIFT <br /> STATION, AND A CULTURAL RESOURCE SURVEY,IN THE AMOUNT <br /> OF $190,451.00 FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT PRICE OF $2,949,156.00; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO <br /> EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS TO IMPLEMENT THE <br /> CHANGE IN SERVICE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. A Change in Service to the Highway 80 Utility Project Agreement with Freese <br /> and Nichols, Inc. relating to an additional 15,700 linear feet of reclaimed water main from the <br /> City's Wastewater Treatment Plan to the Highway 80 lift station, and a cultural resource survey <br /> required by the Texas Historic Commission,in the amount of$190,451.00 for a total contract price <br /> of$2,949,156.00 is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or her designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br /> documents to implement the change in service. <br /> PART 3.
